The first time I saw Sa Ding Ding on one Journal. I was so amaze that I've never seen such a unique mysterious artist like this. Sa Ding Ding is half Mongolian and haft Chinese singer/ song writer. She's interested in 'ethnic minority music' of the region that she heard as a child.She's been recording since the age of 18. She's become a well known face in Chinese television after she released her fist album which earned the title of 'Best Dance Music Singer'.



Her music is influenced by her studies of Buddhism and Dyana Yoga.She's also learning in ancient chants and Mentras. She has impressive linguistic abilities on her recording featuring lyrics that she's written in Mandarin, Sanskrit,Tibetan and the near-extinct Lagu language and she even created her own language which she says is generated from emotions evoked by the music.

Though there's some controversy of her using Tibetan music. Most critics are describing her style as a hybrid of classical Chinese and Tibetan folk music and Western electronica.

Her last debut album 'Alive' is very impressive which shows her ability and uniqueness of her style of being mysterious and spiritual. Her music brings high spirituality for mostly it's overwhelmed by religion. For those spirituality-favored musics should not miss this. You'll find her music adventurous and experimental with the uniqueness of Asian music.

Sa Ding Ding can play a wide array of instruments such as the zheng (zither with 25 strings), Chinese drum, Chinese gong and horse-head fiddle. She's a regular performer at events such as the MTV Style Gala and CCTV-Mtv Video Music Awards.
