The ASEAN Pre-University Scholarships are an annual award for outstanding students from the ASEAN region. They provide an opportunity for studies in top junior colleges in Singapore, leading to the A-levels qualification. Scholars will sit for the GCE A-levels examinations at the end of 2005.
Those who secure good grades in the GCE A-levels examination will have opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies in Singapore or overseas on an undergraduate scholarship.
Eligibility: Scholarships are open to students from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia and Brunei.
Malaysian students who are interested can apply via the Public Services Department. the minimum qualification is 3 distinctions (including Mathematics and a Science subject) and at least a C6 in the GCE O-levels English paper.
Value: Allowance of S$2,400 (RM5,352) per annum with accommodation, S$200 (RM446) settling-in-allowance to and from Singapore at the start and end of the scholarship term.
How to Apply: Short-listed applicants will be invited to sit for a selection test in early April 2004. Successful candidates will be admitted to top junior colleges in Singapore in May 2004. For more information log onto www1.moe.edu.sg/ASEAN

Send it in with certified copies of your results, a copy of your IC, CV (not exceeding one page) with your full name, mailing address and a summary of your major achievements/awards won and participation in co-curricular activities for the last two years.
