Fans of Lindsay Lohan will be relieved to know that she is recovering well from the appendectomy she received yesterday. Lindsay began feeling unwell on Wednesday. Sources say the "Freaky Friday" star thought it was simply the flu but decided to go to the hospital anyways. Upon arrival at the doctors, Lindsay underwent a series of tests at which time her doctor concluded that she had appendicitis.
Lindsay was advised by her doctor to have surgery on Thursday to get her appendix removed. Lindsay took the advice of her doctor and is recovery in the hospital today. Lohan is supposed to rest for the next few days, which means no late night partying for the 20 year old celebrity.
Lindsay recently admitted to attending AA meetings over the last year and her health has been far from perfect in other areas as well. Lohan has had numerous asthma attacks, fainting incidences and even broke her wrist last month. Hopefully Lindsay will finish 2007 better than she started it.
