Britney Spears left her Malibu home earlier in the week, with the paparazzi in tow, as she headed off into the desert oasis that is Las Vegas. But this time, it wasn't the partying and the gambling that brought Spears to Sin City, as Monsters and Critics have reported Spears is collaborating with top R'n'B producer Lukasz Gottwald, who has previously worked with the likes of Missy Elliot, Mos Def and the "Milkshake" girl Kelis.
If a top-level music producer isn't enough to convince people Spears is working on a new album, a source told People magazine that, "Britney is really pulling out the big guns on this album. She's been partying a lot lately but she's been working in studios in Miami and Los Angeles too. She's rehearsing material, working hard and having fun all at the same time." For a location to record her new sound, Britney Spears has chosen the Palms Casino Resort and their private recording studio. As well as working at the Palms, Spears has checked into the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa suit in the hotel's fantasy tower, along with her two children: 16-month-old Sean Preston Federline and almost-five-month-old Jayden James Federline. The $25,000 per night Hugh Hefner Sky Villa is where Britney Spears stayed when she was last in Las Vegas, accompanied by boyfriend Isaac Cohen. The suite comes stacked with a Jacuzzi, a rotating bed and an Infiniti pool, just for a touch of decadence.
