BBC World Service search for the world's best young band sifted through over 1100 entries. Presently it has released a shortlist of the best 20acts. The representative of the Burmese youth 'Bon Von-Ya Know The Name(Burma)' is in the list. Let's vote for Bon Von and other talented artists.

The six finalists will be announced on BBC World Service's The Beat broadcast on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 November. The final will take place on 9 December 2006 in a special programme when the winner of the BBC's search for The Next Big Thing will be announced.
