Robot As Temp Worker For Company In Japan

"Ubiko", a robot-on-wheels with a catlike face, made by Japanese robot manufacturer Tmsuk. It was hoped to be used at stores, events and even wedding. A spokeswoman at the company says the 113 centimeter-tall robot, mounted with a camera and infared sensors would be selling mobile phones at a store next month.
Japan's declining birth rate means that in coming years it could face a labor shortage, and some experts believe that robots could be part of the solution to that problem.>>
