Pitt-Jolie Plan For SA Marriage

|

Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly getting hitched in South Africa in upcoming weeks - but they purportedly won't be exchanging vows in a romantic bush or vineyard setting.

Rumours are rife that they have selected the picturesque Vaal dorp of Henley-on-Klip in Meyerton, 40km outside Johannesburg, as their wedding venue.

That is, if international sources are to be believed.

And no one is more surprised than Henley locals. The hamlet already boasts the prestigious Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

And the speculated wedding could put their little town on the map as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did for Italy's Lake Bracciano at their wedding.

This week the UK's Daily Mail reported that Pitt and Jolie are planning a "fairytale Christmas wedding in South Africa".

"They are treating their marriage like a spiritual affirmation and don't need Hollywood glitz. It will be 'simple and elegant'," it said.

Both are reportedly determined to keep the traditional affair, expected to include tribal African music, as low key as possible, with only a few selected guests attending, including James Bond star Daniel Craig, Madonna, her husband Guy Ritchie and actor George Clooney.

Winfrey is expected to attend as she suggested the "romantic location" to them. There was no confirmation of a Pitt-Jolie wedding by late last night.
