Angelina Jolie And Brad Deny Wedding Reports

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have denied tabloid reports that they're planning an upcoming wedding at the end of the year in South Africa.
After a whirlwind year of media scrutiny after the birth of their daughter, Shiloh Nouvelle Jolie-Pitt, actress Angelina Jolie and actor Brad Pitt (aka Brangelina) were quick to respond to the wedding reports through a Pitt representative who told US Weekly the recent tabloid rumors of a Pitt, Jolie wedding were untrue and fabricated.

Earlier reports suggested that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were planning their wedding for late December in South Africa just outside of Johannesburg. As well, media reports suggested the ceremony would be simple and elegant with traditional African music and was said to be inspired by talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Currently Angelina Jolie is in New York City promoting the upcoming Robert DeNiro directed film The Good Sheperd, which Jolie co-stars alongside DeNiro, Matt Damon and John Turturro. After returning from India where she was filming A Mighty Heart, a movie about slain journalist Daniel Pearl, Angelina and Brad Pitt were quick to shoot down the most recent South Africa wedding reports, citing that they're also too busy in New York City with The Good Sheperd. To date, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not officially announced plans for a wedding.

Angelina Jolie, star of such movies as Mr. And Mrs. Smith, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Alexander, has been in the public eye a lot in 2006 with her partner Brad Pitt. Pitt has appeared in such hits as Fight Club, Troy, Ocean's Twelve, and stars in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Angelina Jolie is the daughter of legendary actor Jon Voight, who has starred in such hit films as Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, Anaconda, Pope John Paul II, and most recently Disney's Glory Road, about legendary Texas Western basketball coach Don Haskins, where Voight played controversial Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp.

On March 10, 2002, Angelina adopted her first child, Maddox Chivan Jolie, when he was 7 months old. Jolie met the child in a Cambodian orphanage while filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Then, on July 5, 2005, People Magazine reported that Angelina Jolie was attempting to adopt an Ethiopian girl that had been orphaned when her mother died from AIDS. After a woman claiming to be the baby's mother was proven not to be, Jolie eventually gained custody of Zahara Marley Jolie. On January 19, 2006, both of Angelina Jolie's babies were also adopted by Brad Pitt, giving the children the surname. In 2006, Angelina Jolie gave birth to the couple's first child together, Shiloh Nouvel Pitt-Jolie, in the African country of Namibia.
